It’s almost Santa time YO!
You been naughty or nice this year?
I imagine I won’t have blackened soot hands from mountains of bad girl coal come Christmas morning – I did alright at 2013 if I must say so myself! Aside from the constantly late Crazy ‘Bout posts and irregular updates. Hopefully Santa brings me that diary I so need to keep on schedule in 2014!
If you are a reader of mine, then you just GOTTA be a good sort and will have presents rain down upon you. YAY!
So today’s post is just a quickie and a bit of fun – I have been TAGGED by the beautiful Bubbles and Blush to answer some rad Xmas related questions! So here we go!
What’s your favourite Christmas colour?
I’m sure I’m in the 95% when I say red.
Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Always Christmas morning, though if anyone is offering me gifts on Xmas Eve to open – IT’S ON.
What’s your favourite
winter summer fragrance?
Since we rock a HOT Christmas in the summertimes here in the land of Oz, my favourite summer fragrance is Vera Wang Princess for (every)day and Roberto Cavalli for night. And I am currently out of both, Ho-Man!
Favourite Christmas smell?
Is it weird to say that tinsel has a smell? Because it DOES. That crisp artificial scent that wafts out of the decorations box each December TOTALLY hypes me up into a state of pure holiday bliss.
What’s your favourite holiday drink?
Once again, because we are in the summertimes during our Aussie festive seez, I am ALWAYS in the mood for a Tequila Sunrise. As long as I’ve been (il)legally able to drink, I have always loved them – but you can never stop at one. DANGEROUS and DELICIOUS.
Candy cane or gingerbread men?
I think I’m getting old when I say gingerbread men. They are so num with a cup of hot chocola….yep OLD.
Candy canes just seem to be everywhere and you can have them heaps – the cute little ginger nums are rarer and super moreish.
Favourite Christmas song?
Happy Xmas (War Is Over) by John and Yoko for sure. Also any of the old crooners like Sinatra or Crosby singing Carols are rad too.
Have you ever made a snowman?
I HAVE created a “lump of snow on the ground about the size of a tennis ball” and called it my first snowman.
Only it wasn’t Christmas time. And I think I may have been a teenager. Better than nothing, right?
What is most important to you about the holidays?
Making heaps of awesome memories and having some huge belly-laughs with the people I love, both with family and friends. Also, that people become a little more considerate to each other and don’t lose their sanity over what’s least important. It’s about great company, good times, celebrating, remembering and reminiscing – these gifts that can’t be bought are the ones most important to me.
Now I feel like curling up on the couch and drinking that hot chocolate with a gingybread man – but instead I’m sitting here with an ice cold Boags! Getting my festive on, Aussie style.
Loved playing the Christmas tag game – now I’m gonna have to find a fellow beauty blogger or two to tag back!
Though I may be kind and let them off the hook, being so close to the big day and all – I know I STILL have shopping to do. EEP.
If I don’t make it back here before the fat man arrives, a very VERY Merry Christmas to you all and thankyou from the bottom of my heart for checking out my Muskstick Mao baby, even if you only made it today or have read from the start – it means the world to me!
Now, go get your festive on!
