Funch. Nope, doesn’t mean fun-lunch (although you could smash a lot of these for a lazy CBF lunch I guess)!
Funch means…YUMMY AS VEGAN SNACKY PACKS.
At this time of year, Autumn/Winter, a regular ritual begins in our house.
Apart from bringing out our blankies to the couch, starting the 24/7 pj’s and mumbling something about starting up at the gym through gobs full of fries – we like to crack out the cosy cups of tea.
Not that we don’t love tea all year round, but we start getting hectic with it in the colder months. T2’s stock prices must soar from our purchases alone.
We get all fancy with flavours, snuggle up in front of the telly and play total Grandma/Grandpa. And Call of Duty, we play lots of that too.
And all of this is simply not complete, without a bliss ball or two to go along with it. While you can make them truffle-style and ridiculously decadent, we find the healthy ones to be JUST as yummy and satiating.
While we’ve always made our own (super easy when you have a Thermomix on the bench but not everyone is so blessed), there ARE still times when I can’t be bothered sourcing heaps of ingredients, times when I just can’t go for that.
Finally, you just rolly-polly it into equal sized balls (each pack makes approx. 15-20 if you portion them out right). Feel free to coconut coat them at this point, or even melt them a snuggly chocolate jacket, but plain is also still delish.
Turf into the fridge for 30 mins, and balls your uncle. Whoa, trying to be clever there – but that does NOT sound good!
BOBS your uncle.
Funch products keep in the fridge for 1-2 weeks, and in the freezer for 6 months.
Also, the dry mix will stay fresh and good for up to 6 months in your perty pantry, so you can always have one on standby to smash any naughty cravings.

At the rate we are smashing through these, I am very tempted to buy a whole BUCKET of Funch mix.
Sure, they are intended for cafes who bulk sell nommy snacks, but rules were made to be broken.
